Fall is here, and it's time to show off your creativity in the St. John Parish 4-H Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

This contest is open to all 4-H members and will be judged at each individual school club meeting during October. Participants will decorate a pumpkin using paint, accessories, and other creative materials to create a one-of-a-kind design. Pumpkins may not be carved.

Whether your design highlights 4-H pride, school spirit, fall fun, or an imaginative creation of your own, this contest is a great opportunity to express yourself and showcase your artistic talents.

Contest Guidelines

• Open to all registered St. John the Baptist 4-H members and Cloverbud Members
• A member can only submit 1 painted pumpkin
• Pumpkins must be decorated, NOT CARVED
• Use paint, accessories, and other creative materials to bring your design to life. NO GLITTER
• Entries will be judged during your school's October 4-H Club meeting
• Have a notecard that includes 4-H'ers name (First and Last) and School Name

Outstanding entries may receive special recognition, including:

• Most creative design
• Best Use of 4-H /Program Theme
• Funniest Pumpkin
• Most Unique Design
• Judges' Choice
