St. John Parish 4-H members have a great opportunity to give back to their community while being part of one of the parish's signature events, the 51st Andouille Festival. Through a partnership with the festival and Osprey Initiative, youth volunteers will assist with recycling and beautification efforts while interacting with festival attendees and helping keep the grounds clean.

You may volunteer with the permission and presence of a parent or guardian during the following shifts:

• Saturday, October 17, 2026: 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Sunday, October 18, 2026: 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Both Days

Volunteers who participate in a festival shift will receive:

• One (1) free festival entry
• One (1) one-day ride band
• A complimentary volunteer T-Shirt

Andouille Run/Walk Volunteer Opportunity

4-H members are also invited to volunteer at the 51st Andouille Run/Walk on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Volunteers will help distribute finisher medals and water to participants at the finish line. Youth are also welcome to participate in the run/walk but must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers should arrive at the Tom F. Daley Park entrance by 8:00 a.m.

Interested youth must be currently enrolled 4-H members and complete the volunteer registration form available on this page.

Volunteer registration forms re due to the St. John Parish 4-H Office by Monday, September 14, 2026. Forms may be emailed, mailed or dropped off in person.
