Join 4-H!

Dear 4-H Members and Families, Welcome to the 2026-2027 4-H year! We're excited to begin another year of learning, leadership, and growth together.

This year's educational focus is Communication and Life Skills, helping youth develop confidence, responsibility, and practical skills for success. Remember, all members are encouraged to participate in parish events, activities, and contests, regardless of their project selection.

As 4-H members, we represent our organization through our actions. We encourage everyone to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and good character both in and out of 4-H.

Thank you for being part of our 4-H family. We look forward to a great year ahead!

Mrs. Cherie and Mr. Reed

Join Terrebonne 4-H Shooting Sports

Terrebonne Parish 4-H Shooting Sports is open to 4th-12th grade 4-H members and provides youth with the opportunity to develop safe firearm and archery skills, sportsmanship, responsibility, and self-discipline. Members may participate in one or more of four disciplines: Archery, Rifle, Shotgun, and Hunting Skills.

Because family involvement is an important part of the program, a parent or guardian is required to attend all shooting sports practices, events, and activities with their child.

We will hold a Shooting Sports Interest Meeting on September 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Houma Municipal Auditorium (880 Verret Street, Houma, LA). Coaches and volunteers will be available to discuss each discipline, program expectations, practice schedules, and answer any questions you may have.

For additional information, please contact Mrs. Cherie at 985-873-6495. We encourage all interested youth and parents to attend and learn more about the opportunities available through Terrebonne Parish 4-H Shooting Sports.
