Note: This page is dedicated for St. Charles Parish 4-H members and families. If you are a member of 4-H in a different parish, please contact your parish 4-H Agent as information and deadlines may differ.

The St. Charles Parish 4-H Program is a co-curricular positive youth development educational program of the LSU AgCenter. Together, the LSU AgCenter staff partners with St. Charles Parish Public Schools and private schools within St. Charles Parish to provide research-based educational opportunities for students through the 4-H Program.

Joining a school 4-H club is a great opportunity for youth to gain hands-on experience as a 4-H member with their peers. Some school 4-H clubs meet during morning meeting, during school, and/or after school. Families are encouraged to inquire about 4-H membership at their child's school level as each school may have a unique procedure for delivering 4-H club programming to enhance student learning experiences at school.

Students in Kindergarten through 12th grade have the opportunity to become participants of the 4-H club program. Kindergarten through 3rd grade students are considered to be 4-H Cloverbuds. In St. Charles Parish, there is a 4-H Cloverbud Community Club that is available for K-3rd graders. Some St. Charles Parish schools also allow 3rd graders to participate as 4-H members at school. For information on specific requirements and school 4-H club activities, families are encouraged to contact the 4-H School Club Leaders and/or School Office for more information.

On behalf of the St. Charles Parish 4-H Program, we would like to say thank you to our 4-H School Club Leaders who volunteer their time and effort to expanding our parish program and creating a lasting impact on our 4-H members and students.
