The St. Charles Parish 4-H Fashion Club is a parish-wide community project club that focuses on the developing life skills through sewing. This club is open to St. Charles Parish students who are currently enrolled in 4^th – 12^th grade.

What do students do in the 4-H Fashion Club?

The 4-H Fashion Club is a STEM-based project club that teaches students how to gain and enhance sewing skills, including hand-sewing and sewing by machine. As 4-H Fashion Club members, students may expect to do the following:

• Attend monthly 4-H Fashion Club workshops to learn sewing skills and sew different fashion projects
• Learn how to stitch by hand during an introductory hand-sewing workshop
• Learn how to use a sewing machine by participating in monthly sewing workshops
• Attend 4-H sewing workshops on a parish and possibly state level
• Compete in fashion contests at 4-H University (for 8^th-12^th graders)
• Meet new 4-H friends from throughout St. Charles Parish

The 2026-2027 St. Charles Parish 4-H Fashion Club Leaders are as follows:

What are the requirements to join the St. Charles Parish 4-H Fashion Club?

• Students must be currently enrolled in St. Charles Parish as a 4^th – 12^th grader.
• Members will need to submit a 4-H enrollment form to register as an official 4-H member.
• There is a $5.00 fee per year to join the 4-H Fashion Club.

Note: In cases of financial difficulty, families may discuss their situation with the St. Charles Parish LSU AgCenter Office for program participation.

How do I join the 4-H Fashion Club?

To join the St. Charles Parish 4-H Fashion Club, students are encouraged to do one of the following:

• Enroll in the 4-H Fashion Club – Members can select the 4-H Fashion Club as a 4-H club option when completing the 4-H enrollment form. Members who are enrolled in the 4-H Fashion Club in 4-H Online will receive monthly emails with updates regarding club information and opportunities.
• Contact the 4-H Office – Interested students may contact the St. Charles Parish LSU AgCenter for instructions on enrollment to begin receiving 4-H Fashion Club information.
