Note: This page is dedicated for St. Charles Parish 4-H members and families. If you are a member of 4-H in a different parish, please contact your parish 4-H Agent as information and deadlines may differ.

The 4-H Livestock Program is a traditional 4-H project known throughout the nation. For generations, 4-H'ers and families have raised livestock animals to exhibit at 4-H Livestock Shows, a tradition that displays discipline, responsibility, commitment, and growth among young people.
The St. Charles Parish 4-H Program provides interested 4-H Livestock exhibitors with opportunities for 4-H'ers to compete in District and State 4-H Livestock Shows. St. Charles Parish takes part in the Southeast District Livestock Show and LSU AgCenter State Livestock Show.
All eligible St. Charles Parish youth who are interested in participating in 4-H Livestock shows should contact your St. Charles Parish LSU AgCenter to enroll or re-enroll as a 4-H member, specify your interest in participating in the 4-H LIvestock program, and begin receiving information about competing in eligible 4-H Livestock contests and events.
Note: There are various due dates for forms, documents, fees, and more for each species of animal. Please contact your Parish LSU AgCenter Office as soon as possible to begin receiving important information for participation in 4-H Livestock Shows.
