In support of our 4-H Livestock Show season, St. Charles Parish 4-H dedicates the month of January to learning about animals. As St. Charles Parish 4-H Livestock exhibitors prepare for showing their livestock animals at District and State 4-H Livestock Show competitions, 4-H'ers throughout the parish are encouraged to participate in contests featuring animals, such as the 4-H Photography Contest (Animal category) and the Virtual Pet Show Contest.

The St. Charles Parish 4-H Virtual Pet Show Contest is a STEM contest that encourages 4-H'ers to gain responsibility for caring for an animal and presentation skills by discussing their animal through video production.
