Clover Chronicle - October 2026 Edition

01. Happy National 4-H Week

National 4-H Week, October 4 – 10, 2026, is a week where 4-H Clubs across the country can showcase the incredible experiences that 4-H offers young people and highlight the remarkable 4-H youth in our community who work each day to impact those around them positively. We all love 4-H for various reasons; during the week, let us know why we love 4-H.

How can you as 4-H members, families, community members, and alumni celebrate the week?

  • Monday, Oct. 5 – Go Green Day: Show your 4-H spirit by going green! Wear green hats, shirts, accessories, face paint—anything green goes. Let’s help paint the nation green in celebration of 4-H.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 6 – Display Contest: Club leaders, be sure to submit your bulletin boards, classroom doors, hallway displays, or other creative exhibits for judging.
  • Thursday, Oct. 8 – Thankful Thursday: Shine a light on all the mentors, educators, and volunteers who are making a positive impact in your life. Share who you're thankful for and celebrate how they are making a difference!
  • 4-H Member: Share Your Story: Celebrate the experiences, opportunities, and life skills you have gained through 4-H. 4-H members are invited to share their 4-H story with the community. Write a letter describing how 4-H has impacted your life or share a short video sharing your 4-H experience and submit online
  • 4-H Alumni: Share Your Story: Did 4-H help shape your future? We invite St. John Parish 4-H alumni to share how their 4-H experiences influenced their education, career, leadership journey, or personal growth. Your story can help inspire the next generation of 4-H members.
Submit your story or the display online today. St. John 4-H National 4-H Week Celebration
