Community Service 2026-2027

One of the pillars of 4-H is learning the importance of giving back to our communities through service. Throughout the year, Bossier 4-H members have the opportunity to help others by participating in several community service projects. Members collect food items for the Pack-A-Sack Program, toys for Operation Christmas Wish, used eyeglasses for the Bossier City Lions Club, and monetary donations for Bucks for Bunks benefiting the Salvation Army. Members may turn in donated items to their school club leader or bring them directly to the Bossier 4-H Office. Please note that each school club leader may have specific collection deadlines, so be sure to follow all club dates and deadlines. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of others and help strengthen our community.
