  • Categories of pets include dogs, cats, rabbits, fowl, fish, reptiles, any other.
  • All pets should be kept under the control of the exhibitor or a parent. ALL animals must be kept on a leash or in a carrier.
  • Age categories WILL NOT be divided.
  • This is a “fun” pet show. It is not necessary to have a registered animal.
  • This show is open to ALL REGISTERED 4-H Members.
  • No livestock animals, including horses, pigs, cows, goats or sheep. (rabbits & chickens are acceptable)

    Join Calcasieu 4-H in showing off cooking and sewing skills during our fall contest day!

    Members can compete in a variety of cookery divisions and compete for a chance to win the sweepstakes prize. All sweepstakes winners will be required to attend the Area Cookery Contest in Crowley, held in the spring. Winners of the cookery contests will receive prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Certificate and ribbon awards will be presented for 1st—3rd place winners. Sweepstakes winners will receive a prize along with an area cookery invitation. No monetary awards will be given this year for the cookery.

    There are several sewing contests available for members of all ages including apron, upcycled and creative choice! 1st place winners in each division will receive prizes, all winners in 1st—3rd place will receive certificate and ribbon awards. No monetary awards will be given this year for sewing contests.

    All Dishes Submitted Must Be Brought In An Ice Chest, On Ice—this includes cookies, cakes, and brownies

    **temperature checks will be conducted**

    No Hot Dishes Accepted, No Exception.

    All Dishes Must Be Presented In A Throw-Away Container.
