4-H is a positive youth development program delivered by the cooperative extension services that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. Through informal, research-based, experiential education activities, 4-H members gain knowledge and life skills that enable them to become positive, productive, capable and compassionate members of their communities. We invite you to join us at your local Louisiana 4-H club, where the fun never ends!
All schools with 4-H clubs will meet in person once a month with the 4-H Agent. Some schools may schedule additional meetings to work on different projects throughout the year. Check school calendars, websites, and other communications for 4-H meeting dates.
The mission of 4-H is to provide meaningful opportunities for youth and adults to work together to create sustainable community changes. This is accomplished within three primary content areas or mission mandates — citizenship, healthy living, and science, engineering and technology (S.E.T.). The educational foundation of 4-H lies within these three mission mandates.
I Pledge:
My HEAD to Clearer Thinking
My HEART to Greater Loyalty

My HEALTH to Better Living
