The 4‑H Junior Leader Club is a leadership development program designed for 7th–12th grade youth who are interested in building leadership skills while making a positive impact in their communities. Members grow as confident leaders through hands‑on experiences in civic engagement, service‑learning, teamwork, communication, and public speaking. Youth take an active role in planning and leading projects, participating in community service initiatives, assisting with younger 4‑H programs, and attending leadership conferences and 4‑H events at the parish, regional, and state levels. The club emphasizes youth voice, responsibility, and character development while helping members strengthen skills that support college, career, and life readiness. The 4‑H Junior Leader Club provides a welcoming space for teens to connect with peers, give back to their community, and grow as empowered leaders through meaningful, youth‑led experiences.
