Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Forestry and Natural Resources with a minor in Plant and Soil Science from Southern University and A&M College in spring 2016. During the summer of 2015, while still an undergraduate student, I had the opportunity to intern in Orleans Parish under the leadership of Dr. Gina Eubanks as an undergraduate Extension agent, working under and shadowing Krystal Sugulleh. Throughout the internship, I gained hands-on experience in youth development, agriculture, community outreach, and Extension programming. I assisted with programs and initiatives including C.H.E.F. Camp, the Youth Expo, Ag Day in St. Helena Parish, Sankofa, Parkway Partners, Leadership Camp at Dillard University, and two community gardens.

After graduating, I began my professional career with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where I gained valuable experience in agriculture, natural resources, and public service. I later accepted a position as an Urban Forester with the City of Houston, further developing his expertise in urban forestry, natural resource management, community engagement, and serving the public.
