Been with LSU AgCenter as an ANR agent since 2017. Has a B.S, in Botany from NCSU and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from UCR. Background in microbiology, plant pathology, vegetable production, greenhouse operation and production, hydroponics, aquaponics, etc.
Favorite part of the job is helping folks with a gardening passion become better gardeners so they can get more pleasure and success from their passion.
Loves dogs and currently has two labradoodles - Mo and Benoit (Benny). Loves the mountains, hiking, fishing, and just spending time in nature.
Attends Redeemer Presbyterian church, loves dancing, and music (there’s always a song playing in my head). An adventurous spirit always looking for new adventures.
