4-H Shooting Sports Camp

The 4-H Shooting Sports Camp will not be held this 2026 Enrollment Year. Please check back in the future to see updates on when camp will resume. When in session, the camp is open to Louisiana 4-H Youth ages 9-13 years old (must be currently enrolled in 4-H in their parish). Participants will choose one of the following: Archery, Shotgun, .22 Rifle or Air Rifle/Air Pistol/BB (Combined). Parents and coaches are welcome to attend but it is not mandatory. The cost will be $100 per youth/per parent/per coach which will cover registration, lodging, meals and t-shirt. All youth will be required to bring their own bow/firearm and arrows/ammo.

Required forms for attendees:

• Youth and Ambassador – Health form, code of conduct, hold harmless

• Adults – Health form, volunteer enrollment, code of conduct, hold harmless

Note: LSU AgCenter policy requires all adults attending an overnight event with youth have to complete our overnight chaperone training and screening process (instructions included in registration). Contact David Boldt or your local agent with any questions.
